Okechukwu served as Federal Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment in Nigeria from 2015 – May 2019. Prior to this, he served as CEO at ACA. His private equity experience from Zephyr Management L.P. and South Africa Capital Growth Fund in New York and Johannesburg respectively. He has also worked for Arthur Andersen in Nigeria and London and Goldman Sachs in New York and London. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst®, a qualified medical doctor, and a chartered accountant and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Abajue

Independent Director
Obinnia is the immediate past Chief Executive Officer of Hygeia HMO Limited. He served as Executive Director and Head of Personal and Business Banking at Stanbic IBTC Bank and was at one-time Acting Managing Director of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos and an MBA from the Imperial College London. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA) UK, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB), and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria (FCS).

Hamda
Ambah

Non-Executive Director

Mrs. Ambah started her career at the International Merchant Bank (IMB) Ltd in Nigeria (then an affiliate of the First National Bank of Chicago) in December 1982. This was just after completing an M.Sc. degree in Management Science at the Imperial College of Science and Technology in the United Kingdom. Prior to that, in 1980, Mrs. Ambah had secured a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science at the University of Lagos. From IMB, she moved to Reuters Ltd in 1989 as an executive with responsibility for Nigerian sales accounts. In August 1993 she started work in First Securities Discount House Ltd (FSDH) as an Assistant General Manager.

Over the years, she rose to become an Executive Director with primary responsibility for the Corporate Banking and Corporate Finance Department, securing many valuable mandates for the organization. She also sat on the boards of various subsidiaries: FSDH Asset Management Ltd, FSDH Capital Ltd and Pensions Alliance Ltd. For Pensions Alliance Ltd (PAL), she was an integral member of the team that set up the organization and was a pioneer member of the company’s board of directors. At the end of 2012, FSDH secured a banking licence from the Central Bank of Nigeria and started operations as FSDH Merchant Bank Ltd early in 2013. Mrs. Ambah was appointed Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the bank on February 1st , 2017. She retired from the bank on April 27, 2021.

Mrs. Ambah is an Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB) as well as a Fellow of the Nigerian Chartered Institute of Stock Brokers. She is an independent non-executive director on the boards of Infrastructure Credit Guarantee Company Ltd and ValuAliance Asset Management Ltd. She is also a member of the governing board of the Corona Schools Trust Council. She is married
with children.

Oniovosa

Non-Executive Director
Sam brings to the board over 30 years of experience in financial services. He began his career at Arthur Andersen. He has held various senior management roles in Guinness Nigeria PLC, First City Merchant Bank, and United Bank for Africa. Sam holds a First-Class degree in Economics from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) (1979) and an MBA from the University of Lagos (1990). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Atoyebi

Managing Director
Eno has over 20 years of experience in investment management. Before she joined ValuAlliance in 2010, she worked for Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited (formerly SecTrust), where she was co-head of the Asset Management division. Prior to that, she worked for Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst® and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. She has an MBA (finance) from Hult International Business School, MA, USA and is an Alumna of the Lagos Business School Senior Management Programme.
